1. Who we are
This website, noble-tt.com, is published by Noble Accounting & Insurance Services ("Noble", "we", "us"), a practice based in Trinidad and Tobago and led by Alisha Clarence, Chartered Accountant and Insurance Advisor. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

If you have a question about anything in this policy, email us. We answer privacy questions in plain language, in the same way we answer everything else.
2. The short version
- You can read every article on this site without giving us anything.
- If you send an enquiry, we use your details to answer it — nothing else.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- We show advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners use cookies for this, and those cookies are only set after you have agreed to them in the banner shown on your first visit.
- You can change that answer at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
The enquiry form on our Contact page asks for your name, email address, an optional telephone number, the service you are asking about, and your message. We use that information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to deliver the engagement you ask for. The form is processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf; submissions are delivered to us by email and retained in our records.
Please do not send BIR file numbers, national identification numbers, bank details or confidential documents through the website form. If we need them, we will tell you a secure way to send them.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data when a page is served: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. This is used to keep the site running, diagnose faults and guard against abuse.
3.3 Information collected by cookies
See section 5. In summary: strictly necessary cookies only, unless and until you consent to advertising cookies.
4. Why we are allowed to use it

We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, Chap. 22:04 of the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago, to the extent it is in force, and apply equivalent standards of care where it is not.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. We group them as follows.
5.1 Strictly necessary
These make the site function and are always active. They include the record of your own cookie choice, which we store locally on your device so that we do not ask you the same question on every page. They do not track you across other websites.
5.2 Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
This site is free to read and is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdSense. The disclosures Google requires publishers to make are set out below, and they apply to this site:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie, and other identifiers, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies, and this policy does not cover the privacy practices of those third parties.
- These cookies may be used to measure ad performance, limit the number of times you see a particular ad, and detect invalid clicks and fraud.
None of the above happens on this site until you press "Accept all cookies". The Google AdSense script is not present in the page at all until consent is given; if you choose "Essential cookies only", it is never loaded, and we signal that refusal to Google using Google Consent Mode. Where ads are shown to a visitor who has not consented to personalisation, they are non-personalised.
5.3 How to opt out
You have several independent ways to refuse advertising cookies. Any one of them is sufficient.
- On this site: choose "Essential cookies only" in the banner, or open Cookie settings at any time from the footer of any page and change your answer.
- Google's own controls: turn off personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center or google.com/settings/ads.
- Industry opt-outs: opt out of many third-party vendors at once at aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance), optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative) or youronlinechoices.com (European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance).
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of some websites working, though this one will continue to be readable.

6. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Netlify — hosting and form processing for this website.
- Google and its advertising partners — advertising cookies and identifiers, and only where you have consented, as described in section 5.
- Google Fonts — the site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers, which receive the request and your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the file.
- Guardian Group (Guardian Life of The Caribbean Limited and Guardian General Insurance Limited) — only where you ask us to arrange insurance or annuity cover, and only the information needed to progress that application. See our Terms of Use for our appointment disclosure.
- Regulators, courts or professional bodies — where we are required by law or professional obligation to disclose.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to twenty-four months and then deleted. Client records are retained for the period required by Trinidad and Tobago tax and companies legislation and by our professional obligations — generally at least six years from the end of the relevant year. Server logs are short-lived. Your cookie choice is stored on your own device for 180 days, after which we ask again.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct anything inaccurate, or to delete information we no longer need to keep. You may withdraw your consent to advertising cookies at any time without giving a reason and without any effect on your access to the site. Write to alisha.clarence@noble-tt.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago.
9. Children
This site is written for adults dealing with business, tax and family financial matters. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we have not enabled advertising features that would target children. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Security and international transfers
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry data is restricted to the practice. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential documents through the form. Our hosting and advertising providers operate globally, so information may be processed on servers outside Trinidad and Tobago, under those providers' own safeguards.
11. Links to other sites
Articles on this site link to the Inland Revenue Division, the National Insurance Board, insurers and other third parties. Once you follow such a link you are on their site and subject to their privacy policy, not ours.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change affects what you consented to, we will ask you again through the cookie banner rather than assume your previous answer still stands.
